Opportunity for an AO3 to join a state government department in Caboolture!

It is a state government department that provides a range of housing services for Queenslanders who may be experiencing homelessness or financial hardship.
Your new role
It will involve supporting the department to provide housing assistance, advice and planning solutions to a diverse range of customers. This will take place over the front counter, digitally or by telephone correspondence. Day to day duties will include but are not limited to:
- Undertaking customer interviews
- Make referrals to support service agencies
- Assess applications for grants
- Ensure departmental compliance
- Facilitate the resolution of disputes and complaints
- Monitor and manage outstanding arrears and refunds
- Maintain accurate customer records and file notes
What you'll need to succeed
Willingness to undergo a criminal history check
Ability to liaise with vulnerable customers who are going through change and uncertainty
