The client:
We are currently working with a large QLD State Government Department to recruit multiple A03 Service Officers.
The role:
As a Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing and recovering outstanding debts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contacting customers to arrange payment plans.
- Investigating delinquent accounts.
- Maintaining accurate records of collections activities.
- Conducting inbound and outbound calls.
- Assisting debtors in resolving debt disputes.
- Organize and manage debtors' instalment payments.
- Register and action correspondences from debtors and stakeholders.
- Assessing debtors' eligibility for enforcement order cancellation.
- Undertake routine audits and quality assurance programs for compliance purposes.
You:
To be successful for this role. You will have:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work in a high-pressured environment.
- Experience in a high-volume contact centre
- Experience in a debt collection, recoveries environment, and/or dispute resolution/ negotiation.
- Excellent initiative and a 'can do' attitude.
- Strong computer literacy.
