Your new role
The Administration Officers’ focus is to provide support to the section. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Monitor multiple mailboxes assisting with correspondence and grant applications.
- Data entry to track and help with assessment of grant applications.
- Filing grant applications and correspondence into SharePoint and CM9.
- Assist with the establishment, meetings, reports and procurement activities for the Selection Advisory Panel.
- Finalise required documentation for the Community Grants Hub towards the end of the establishment phase of the grant opportunities.
- Other administrative duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in the APS
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships
- A demonstrated ability to work in a small team, including the ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or other visualisation tools
To be considered for this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
