The Position
This position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance and development of arboriculture (tree) assets within our streets, parks, reserves and landscapes across our City.

Qualifications & experience
- Minimum Certificate III in Arboriculture and/or extensive relevant industry experience
- Construction Induction Card
- Medium Rigid (MR) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
- Demonstrated industry experience with arboriculture practices including and in depth knowledge of associated machinery operation and tree risk management principles.
- Assist with the coordination and distribution of Customer Service Requests pertaining to all aspects of arboriculture development and maintenance.
- Provide assistance with the management and associated purchasing protocols including the annual street tree replacement program.
- Provide support with the coordination and maintenance of the tree management database.
- Provide advice on landscape designs and arboriculture projects.
- Assist with the completion of Vegetation Removal Permits (VRP).
- Provide advice and assistance to all internal and external stakeholders on all aspects of tree maintenance.
Hours
Based on a 38 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. These times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
