Forklifts Australia is the direct importer, supplying LPG and diesel forklifts ranging from 2.5 up to more than 30 tonnes.

A specialist division of Access Group Australia, we specialise in the hiring, selling, servicing and transporting of Forklifts to the Construction, Material Handling, Commercial, and Mining sectors. We have a strong team of employees working in a fast-paced, high-performing, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Forklifts Australia is embarking on its next phase of stand-alone growth and we need a high-energy, smart and savvy sales professional to own our customer base in the Perth metro area.

We are looking for a dynamic and highly competitive Area Sales Manager, someone who enjoys the hunt, is motivated to earn and has a never quit attitude to join the team. This newly created role will be integral in  establishing the Forklifts Australia footprint in WA.

Reporting to a very entrepreneurial GM and backed by the highly successful Access Group, you will take to the market our leading brand of UN Forklifts that have been in Australia for 20 years with a proud 40 year heritage.

Your main responsibilities will

• Building market share and developing new business.
• Establishing yourself as an industry client solution partner.
• Driving revenue growth to meet and exceed agreed-upon targets on a monthly and annual basis.
• Establishing and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
• Spending time in the field by conducting customer site visits that strengthen business relationships.

The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement - in addition to this they will have;

• Previous experience, ideally 2+ years, in a similar position with a successful track record for achieving results through influence
• Experience within the Hire industry working with Forklifts will be highly regarded.
• Proven ability to build and foster strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• The ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, effectively meet deadlines and successfully prioritise work.
• Strong motivation to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• A fun, energetic and hardworking approach.
• Willingness to learn and be coached for success.
• Current and valid Western Australian Driver's License.
