About the role:

Reporting to the Team Leader, Migration Operations, the Assessment Consultant will be responsible for providing CPA Australia’s migration skills assessment services by verification and/or assessment of non-complex skills assessment applications, including evaluation of academic qualifications, employment experience and English language proficiency checks. This role involves a high level of customer service delivery including active case management of assessments and contribution towards continuous process improvements.

Your key duties:

Â

• Provision of written assessment results of non-complex qualifications, employment experience, and English Language proficiency checks to migrants
• Timely, accurate and consistent assessments of activities that support CPA Australia’s skills assessments in line with guidelines and requirements prescribed by the Department of Education, the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, and Department of Home Affairs.
• Review documents against requirements, fraud detection and relevance.
• Provide case management style service, including outbound calls, where appropriate.
• Take ownership of queries, requests, cases and correspondence, delivering quality, accurate and concise responses to members, customers and colleagues.  
• Record all interactions within our record management databases.
• Provide administration support to the team, including but not limited to, refunds, reporting, data collation, data integrity and analysis for reports and projects.

• Well-developed organisational and time management skills
• Superior communication with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Initiative and the ability to resolve issues with minimal direction
