About the role
The City of Coffs Harbour present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Asset Officer to join our highly skilled City Infrastructure Directorate.
As an Asset Officer, you would assist in managing, updating and improving Asset Data including operational, financial & spatial data in line with the objectives of the City of Coffs Harbour's Asset Management System and Framework.
The successful candidate would be responsible for continuous data improvement in collaboration with key internal stakeholders; completing tasks associated with Data Management and profiling such as audits and health checks; participate in data collection projects including field based data collection; assist with Financial Management of the City's assets, including capitalisation of work orders, disposals and revaluations; and provide their expertise to help develop and maintain relevant procedures, software and system administration.

Do you have these key attributes?
- Demonstrated experience in asset and data management
- Demonstrated knowledge of GIS spatial data management and desirable knowledge of GPS equipment
- High level knowledge of database applications, processing and spreadsheets
- The expertise to communicate effectively with various stakeholders across multiple platforms
- A passion to improve existing systems and processes
- Skills to manage and prioritise tasks.

Essentials Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate Diploma in the areas of Management/Engineering/Business Administration/Local Government/Computing or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in the application of asset data knowledge
- Current Class C Drivers License.
Desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of engineering plans
- Highly desirable experience in using TechnologyOne computer software.
