Salary: $99,364 - $113,228 p.a. plus 11% SuperPermanent, Full TimeAccess to Councils Variable Working HoursAbout the roleThis is a permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm position working 35 hours per week. This position is located at the Nowra Administration Building.The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.DutiesReporting directly to the Manager – Building Services, the focus of this position is to:Lead the Building Assets team in delivery of Asset ServicesDevelop & Maintain Asset Management Plans for the Building Services SectionDevelop & Maintain the Asset Management System /MMS for the Department by implementing the requirements of the International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM).Develop, implement, and maintain asset registers for the Building Services Section assets, monitor condition, provide data and reports as required to meet operational, managerial and legislative requirements.Support the implementation and ongoing development of corporate systems that relate to the City Services Directorate and Building Services Department.Oversee Statutory Building Compliance maintenance and the annual testing and certification process.Manage and audit the Works System for Building Services and provide reporting.Provide high level business support to the section manager as required including financial reporting and budget control.Lead Sections business operations, identifying opportunities and creating improvements.Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Finance, or equivalentDemonstrated high level of competency in Asset ManagementDemonstrated strong leadership skills and ability to work in a busy team environmentHigh level of experience in managing diverse matters and proven ability in achieving positive outcomes in a timely manner.At least 7 years’ experience in either asset & works systems, finance / accounting, or business improvement.Demonstrated high level competency in the use of spreadsheets and word processing software – preferably MS OfficeClass C Driver’s LicenseProof of Australian residency or citizenshipPlease see Job Description for further Essential CriteriaAbout Shoalhaven City CouncilShoalhaven City Council is a dynamic organisation serving a large and diverse community; limitless opportunity exists for an exciting and rewarding career.
