The successful candidate will be working alongside a Senior Account Managers servicing a book of small to large construction clients across a facets of their insurance needs.

The Role:
- Processing renewals, quotes, new business and endorsements
- Answering day to day customer queries
- Negotiating placements with insurers
- Debtor management
- Ad-hoc administrative work
- Answer incoming calls – handle queries in a professional manner to the limits of their role and delegate to staff as required
- Assist Managers, Account Executives, Brokers and BDMs in their day-to-day activities
- Client follow-up
- Preparing correspondence between clients and underwriters for approval by the Account Executive or Junior Broker
- Updating of Claims Status reports
- Attending to front counter payments and enquiries
- Assisting other Brokers when required for general queries
About you:
The successful candidate will show a desire to learn on the fly, be a keen problem solver with an eye for detail and be proactive in applying their skillset to support the business in its day-to-day function.
- Tier 2 or Tier 1 (preferred) but not essential.
- Prior experience using Sunrise, WinBEAT, SCTP advantageous
- Confident communication skills and telephone manner
- Knowledge of the insurance industry a plus
- Literacy in technology and systems, in particular word processing and spreadsheet packages (Microsoft 365)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with and managing high volumes of clients
- Outgoing style of communication and natural curiosity
- Results driven
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt quickly and positively in a constantly changing environment
