Online accounting practice that provides both taxation and virtual accounting services from small to medium businesses. We provide all taxation services, excellent bookkeeping and virtual CFO services to our clients. We have grown rapidly to a team of seven staff and have clients across several different countries.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Payroll duties: Variety of bookkeeping tasks, bank reconciliations, payroll etc ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian standards.
- BAS & GST Returns: Compliance with relevant ledgislation and meeting deadlines for lodgement
- End of Month & Financial Reports: Perform end of month tasks including journals, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting.
- Attendance at Meetings
- ASIC and Companies NZ: perform all reporting requirements for clients
- Admin Tasks: Administrative tasks as required, including phone calls as required.
- Variety of clients: Ability to manage workload and work across a variety of clients and industries.
Qualifications & experience
- Accounting degree and working towards CPA
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting practice and billing hours to clients
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot. Training will be provided
- Excellent skills in Xero, MYOB and Excel
