We're looking for an experienced Assistant Director to join our Client's team focused on Cyber Security Enablement and delivery. You will play a crucial role in supporting the protection of systems, information, and environments while enabling the delivery of Cyber Security projects and programs of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct projects and programs of work.
- Develop, implement, and manage Cyber Security resilience projects and programs of work.
- Manage section financial responsibilities including tracking, reporting, and budget management.
- Develop IT security standards, policies, procedures, and controls.
- Improve security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and capability evolution.
- Provide expert advice on Cyber Security considerations during procurement activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned based on business requirements.
- Australian Citizenship and willingness to undergo Security Vetting processes to NV1.
- Demonstrated project management experience with relevant industry qualifications.
- Experience managing operational budgets within a government environment.
- Demonstrated leadership ability within a hybrid APS and Labour Hire workforce.
- Thorough knowledge of key Australian Government Cyber Security frameworks including the Essential 8.
- Proven experience in dealing with technical and non-technical business teams in a Cyber GRC engagement context.
- Experience with or qualifications relating to Commonwealth Procurement Rules and contract management.
