We are currently recruiting for Qualified and or experienced Auto Electricians to diagnose and repair Electrical accessories and components for NSW Police Fleet vehicles

This is a customer facing position, communicating with our client on arriving and conclusion of the repair.
This is fast-paced environment with repairs conducted with client on-site.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosis of faults and the repairs of electrical and some non electrical components in motor vehicles including Sirens/light bars, system boxes, antennas.
- Replacing defective parts, including fuses, lamps and switches.
- Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles, including. harnesses, light bars, message boards, siren and speaker units.
- Programming OEM Computer Systems.
- Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
- Install and identify faults with ancillary electrical systems.
- Using test equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions.
- Repairs on some non electrical vehicle components.
The successful candidate will require:
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or similar trade.(or currently studying)
- Minimum twelve (12) months related experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to problem solve and work under pressure
- Flexibility to sometimes perform tasks outside of your main role
- Work well both independently and part of a team.
