About the role

The purpose of this role is to demonstrate accountability at an advanced practice level for managing and coordinating ongoing care for persons with a disability and complex and challenging behaviours within Behavioural Emergency Response Team (BERT), Metro North Health and for the provision of specialist nursing advice, consultation, leadership, and education to inter-professional team members as relevant to the specific context of the role.

• Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse (RN). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of employment.
