A new role for an experienced Bid Coordinator/Manager to join a global manufacturing business working directly with the National Sales Leader
This is a newly created role for an experienced Bid Coordinator/Manager to join a growing, innovative, global manufacturing business.This is a key role in the business and requires an individual who can manage bid submissions, has experience with take-offs, communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders and ideally possesses a working knowledge of CAD and/or Revit.
As the Bid Coordinator/Manager, you will play a key role in securing new projects and contributing to the businesses growth and success. Reporting directly to the National Sales Leader, this is an integral role in the business to manage and lead the bidding process.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, manage, and coordinate the entire bid process, from initial request for proposal to submission.
- Carry out accurate take-offs of manufactured and third-party materials
- Accurately estimate project costs and creating detailed cost breakdowns.
- Review and analyse bid documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure thorough understanding of project requirements.
- Work closely with the sales and design teams to develop effective bid strategies that align with the company's objectives and client needs.
- Lead the creation of compelling and comprehensive proposals, including writing, editing, and formatting, to clearly articulate our understanding of the project requirements.
Experience:
- 2 years + experience in a bid coordination role
- Experience in the construction industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing and winning bids.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
- AutoCAD and/or Revit experience (highly regarded)
