Bookkeeper | Accounts Officer

The CompanyRobert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join an outstanding investment management business based in South Yarra. The RoleReporting to the Finance Manager you assist in managing both accounts payable and receivable tasks for a group of entities, ensuring timely and accurate processing is maintained. This will include: Processing purchase invoicesReview accounts payable for overdue invoices.Raising intercompany monthly invoices.Follow up ageing receivables.Verifying financial statements, ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriateProcess general journals for intercompany transfers.Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual audit files.Assist in BAS preparation and PAYG Reconciliation.Assist in reconciliations of accounts. Your Profile3 years' experience within a similar roleStrong attention to detailExperience using Excel and other MS softwareExcellent communication skills, problem solving & initiative.Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.Results orientated and ability to see tasks through to completion.
