Bookkeeper or Accountant

Our client is a well-established mid-sized accounting practice, fast approaching 30 years of operation. Specialising in complex taxation, e commerce businesses, family offices and mergers and acquisitions, they consider themselves to provide a unique offering based on superior service and extensive expertise. Their overall advisory expertise is aimed at  assisting their clients to blossom and excel. 

Continuing growth and a recent change in structure, has provided the opportunity to take on a Part Time Bookkeeper or Accountant who will control  the  key internal financial position.

The duties include:

• Client invoicing;
• Debtor control;
• Payroll
• AP & AR
• Overseeing the accounting software;
• Statistical analysis and reporting.

To be successful in gaining this exciting and flexible opportunity, you will:

• Be an experienced Management Accountant or Bookkeeper;
• Have previous exposure to a professional services firm;
• Be seeking a slightly reduced number of work hours per week;
• Have a high attention to detail as a normal part of your personality traits;
• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Be smart and possess a “can do” attitude;
• Enjoy interacting with people and enjoy a laugh / a happy workplace;
• Be happy to work 5 short days per week (regular start and finish negotiable);
• Have solid computer skills including using the Microsoft suite of products;
• Be comfortable working in small but professional firm, that demands flexibility for the “good of the client”.

A salary package commensurate with skills and experience will be negotiated with  the  successful applicant,  lovely  inner Southern Suburbs  offices  close to  public  transport and  a  great group  of people to work with.
