GDA Group is a growing multi-faceted financial services organisation specialising in the areas of funds management, financial planning, accounting & tax and Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) administration. With offices currently in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.
This exciting and unique opportunity is suitable for an experienced Business Development Manager looking to further advance their career with a diversified role and become a key member in the organisation.
The Role
The key focus of the role will be to identify new business opportunities for the funds management division of the organisation. This includes, but not limited to:
- Source new capital for the groups unlisted Australian commercial property trust which is currently available on the Hub24 and Centric platforms (both IDPS and Super)
- Assist the group in increasing the property trust’s exposure across additional platforms
- Contacting leads and conducting meetings with new business prospects
- Self-sourcing leads and securing new business opportunities
- Managing and retaining relationships with clients, investors and advisers
- Achieving set sales targets and objectives
- Assist with the development and implementation of marketing plans
- Ensuring high standards of professionalism and service, thereby creating referral opportunities
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability in Business Development and driving opportunities in the financial services industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
