Vogelsang develops, produces and distributes highly-engineered equipment that is easy to maintain. The head office is located in Essen/Oldb. in Lower Saxony, Germany. Founded in 1929 as a manufacturer of agricultural machinery, the company has grown to become a specialist in individually configurable machines, plants and systems for the agricultural, biogas, industrial, transportation and wastewater sectors.
The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager whom can operate and manage the day to day sales process in the Queensland sales region whilst simultaneously executing our growth strategy. The person we are looking for will enjoy traveling to customer sites to meet customers and prospects in person and they will attend networking events for the company. They will care for our existing customers whilst actively searching for new customers.
The candidate
You are a strategic thinker, self-motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about developing solutions for your clients. You may or may not have an engineering or business degree however you will possess with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand the basic principals and concepts of fluid mechanics. You have some experience working as in at least one external B2B sales role and have very strong sales skills. Some experience working with the wastewater or sugar Industries would be highly regarded.
