The Role:
The Business Development Manager's primary focus will be prospecting and building relationships with new clients while also keeping existing client relationships strong. Overall, further establish the organisation's market presence.
Some tasks the BDM will be expected to do are:
- ID and develop new business opportunities.
- ID new business opportunities with existing customers
- Maintain relationships with existing customers
- Maintain up to date records in the CRM.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop further opportunities.
- Work with sales support team to streamline sales processes.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, & customer feedback.
- regular reporting to management on sales and BD efforts.
We are looking for a hungry sales person who lives for the chase. The right person will be an excellent communicator and someone who enjoys fostering new relationships.
Preferably, this person would come from a signage background, either in a sales role, or worked in other areas in signage and understands the materials used.
Other needs include:
- Proficiency in the Office Suite
- Negotiation skills
- Problem solving skills
- Highly organised and methodical approach
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Netsuite being an added advantage
- Time management and multi tasking skills
- At least 3 years experience in Sales/BD related roles
- Proven track record in sales success
