THE ROLE

We work closely with our clients to develop customised products to showcase the full potential of their brands. We support them with innovative solutions that identify people, recognise their achievements, and help their diverse business grow.

In the role of Business Development Manager, you will focus on client retention, new business wins and grow our Sydney market share.  You will have a strong desire to want to grow and develop a strong pipeline of business opportunities through strategic networking and relationship building. 

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to

  • Achieve budgeted sales and trading margin contribution targets.
  • Monitor sales by product group to identify areas of opportunity. 
  • Develop strategies to further advance organic growth. 
  • Onboarding customers for successful first order in partnership with internal account management team. 
  • Strategic plans for contract retention working alongside key stakeholders.
  • Meet regularly with management to discuss contracts, field work, growth opportunities and opposition activities in the territory.
  • Understand reporting needs and proficiency.
  • Liaise with Group Sales Manager to prepare an annual budget by client. 

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Proven Business Development experience. 
  • Previous experience in retail, merchandise, apparel, safety and or promotional products would be highly desirable.
  • Growing B2B customer base success in winning new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Sales reporting and territory planning experience.
  • Strong sales discipline and communication skills.
