About the Role
We are on the hunt for a seasoned Business Development Manager, with a strong sales background in unified communications to join our team at an exciting time of growth!
You will have the opportunity to build your sales team ground up.
Reporting into the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and acquire new opportunities and channels within the nominated vertical market, which includes developing and implementing strategies to identify underserviced current and potential clients.
- Regularly and systematically contact and meet with clients, presenting products or solutions that meet their current and predicted future needs.
- Manage key end-users and influencer relationships, by coordinating and providing value-add services like design, proof-of-concept demonstrations and after-sales support.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop proposals and designs that reflect clients’ needs, concerns and objectives.
- Nurture relationships with relevant market Development Managers (supplier/s) to ensure Company knowledge on all technological, operational and commercial activities relevant to the nominated vertical market remains current.
- Lead key product launches, campaigns, tradeshows and product demonstrations, as required, to end-users, influencers and integrators
About You

Key requirements for this role include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or Related Field and/or equivalent.
- You’re a key player, ready to take on the next level as coach!
- Demonstrated sales background (min 5 years), with strong understanding and experience in unified communications.
- Strong relationship building skills, business acumen, a strong customer focus, solution-driven, analytical intelligence and innovative thinking.
- Extensive knowledge of the nominated vertical market in Australia or New Zealand, extremely advantageous.
- Current Drivers Licence- Class C
