Business Development Manager
Kulbardi is looking to bring on a creative, energetic & results driven Business Development Manager to join our wonderful & supportive team of dedicated individuals. About the Role
The primary objective of the role is to increase sales from all accounts in their territories and to attract new business to Kulbardi.
It is a full-time role (5 days per week) and will be based in our Karratha Office. This role will suit candidates living and working in Karratha or surrounding areas.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following;
- Collaboratively work with the National Sales Manager to develop a strategic plan for the geographic territory
- Develop and deliver Business Development activities in consultation with the National Sales Manager.
- Establish a high level of engagement with clients/prospective clients and suppliers in the region, fostering collaborative working relationships and identifying opportunities to increase sales and margin.
- Creating new business through cold calls, networking events, promotions, and developing new ideas and opportunities
- Manage daily and monthly achievement of sales and margin budgets
- Manage sales, Business Development and margin enhancement to the existing customer base
- Provide local knowledge and intel on matters relating to contracts, tenders and price agreements specific to the territory
- Maintain close relationships with clients to determine customer product requirements
- Territory sales development and reporting
- Engage and support Kulbardi strategic supplier partners
Requirements and attributes:
- Experience in preparing & presenting presentations
- Proven experience in customer relationship management
- Knowledge of market research
- Computer literacy skills – MS Office (Excel)
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail to ensure the integrity of data in reporting
- Current Drivers Licence for frequent travel
