The role
As the Business Development Manager, you will manage client relationships, drive strategies, pitch innovative solutions and advocate for the customer in all interactions. Your expertise in pitching to clients and selling solutions and your commercial acumen will be instrumental in enhancing client performance and guiding the team towards success.
What you will do
- Own and nurture client relationships, fostering collaboration and exploring business growth opportunities.
- Engaging with new clients and opportunities.
- Understand client goals and objectives, demonstrating a genuine interest in their business.
- Develop and implement client strategies to enhance your customer's performance and achievement of goals.
- Create and deliver detailed proposals, agreements, estimates, reports, and invoices.
- Manage client budgets effectively to drive profitability and identify revenue growth areas.
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client growth and performance.
- Minimum of two years in a client-facing role in an agency, marketing or related business supporting client outcomes and developing business.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proven experience in pitching solutions and creating client buy-in.
- Previous experience in account management and/or Business Development is a must.
- Commercial curiosity and ability to pitch and close new opportunities.
