Your new role This company is looking for sales driven individuals, who are aspiring, highly motivated and handle pressure well. This role will manage a large portfolio of civil accounts covering the geographical area of Nowara to the Central Coast but predominantly Sydney metro. Managing up to 90 civil Accounts where some may have 6-7 live sites to service. This role will inherit residual accounts that have been identified as growth potential. The eager new business hunter will be a strong attribute to this role. Key Duties:
Managing and retaining relationships with existing civil clients
Increasing client base to grow sales and hire volume/revenue
Building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with new and existing clients by gaining a full understanding of their business and application requirements
Developing and sharing growth strategies and plans
Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
Working and negotiating where necessary with internal stakeholders
Drafting and reviewing contracts in conjunction with the National Tender and Submissions Coordinator
Creating and maintaining of Key Account Plans in conjunction with peers and leader
Your skills and experience
The ability to sell ideas, products, and services across all levels, from Procurement Manager to sub-contractors on site
Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the clients' requirements
Business and commercial acumen
Stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to negotiate
Strong presentation skills
Experience with design and implementation of Business Development strategy
Experience working to and exceeding targets
5 or more years' experience in sales and Business Development
