With a diverse range of products catering to the Architecture and Design (A&D) industry, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to focus on engaging A&D subcontractors and builders. This role requires a hunter mentality, technical acumen, and the ability to navigate a diverse product range to meet the unique needs of our clients.Position Overview: In the role of Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in amplifying our market presence within the A&D subcontractor and builder sector. The successful candidate will lead the charge in actively seeking out new business prospects, cultivating robust connections with subcontractors and builders, and skilfully advocating for our extensive and technically diverse line-up of acoustic solutions.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the A&D subcontractor and builder community.
Implement a strategic approach to target potential clients and generate leads.
Technical Expertise:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of our diverse acoustic product range.
Provide technical expertise to clients, offering solutions tailored to their specific project requirements.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate strong relationships with A&D subcontractors, builders, and key stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand project specifications and provide customized acoustic solutions.
Product Portfolio Presentation:
Conduct engaging and technical product presentations to showcase the versatility and benefits of our diverse range of acoustic solutions.
Clearly articulate how our products meet the unique needs of subcontractors and builders in the A&D sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in Business Development within the construction or building products industry.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to understand and communicate complex product features.
- Demonstrated success in a hunter role with a focus on new business acquisition.
- Willingness to travel for work.
