Rusty Barrel Spirits is a craft spirit brand located in the heart of Sydney with bespoke packaging and high quality Craft Spirits. Our first release is Rusty Barrel Vodka, launched in 2021. This vodka has received overwhelming attention and acknowledgment on the silky smooth taste and eye-catching packaging. We have received a number of local and international awards including two gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, gold at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in London and a silver medal at the London Spirits Competition. Our vodka can be found throughout Australia in independent liquor stores as well as the large chain stores including Dan Murphy's, BWS, Liquorland & First Choice Liquor.
Our company is fast growing, young and energetic with a passion for quality spirits. We have a desire to see Australian made products succeed both locally and internationally.
Qualifications & experience
- The successful applicant will ideally have previous sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry. Preferably the spirits portfolio
- Demonstrate strong networking and communication skills in a variety of settings
- Experience generating sales and developing marketing and sales strategies
- Be highly organised and motivated with an ability to work both autonomously and in a team
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
Tasks & responsibilities
- Cold calling potential new customers to secure new business accounts / customers
- Meeting sales targets, and providing sales reports
- Prepare sales action plans and strategies
- Assist in the establishment of new marketing ideas and initiatives
- Identify, pursue and successfully close sales opportunities
- Meeting sales KPI’s for the On and Off Premise channels
- Conducting product training and in-store tasting events
- Maintaining customer relationships with existing accounts
- Participate in sales events i.e. Markets, Festivals, etc
