The hire operation is across most of the large projects in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. They thrive on making deadlines and making sure that the equipment is the best in the market but also is fully supported with the latest tech for specialist dig projects. With Trimble and Topcon systems in all excavators it’s sure to say that each machine is lined with the best equipment. You will be given full onboard training on internal systems and be onboarded at head office in your first week. This business prides itself on its leadership and support from internal teams, you will be welcomed like one of the family from day 1.
Job Opportunity –
This role will be very different to other roles that I have filled nationally for the company. With this role being based in Orange NSW you will not have a direct manager in the branch, but you will report to the National Sales Manager based in Sydney. Your prerogative is to secure and win construction and civil projects throughout Central NSW. Your are will reach as far as Burke then Eats to Narrabri, South to Cowra and back around to West Wyalong. You will target anyone and everyone that wishes to rent out Earthmoving equipment. You will have the following machines in your fleet –
- Excavators
- Loaders
- Compactions
- Dumpers
- Graders
- Wheel loaders
- Tele Handlers
- Dozer
- Water Carts
The business needs someone that has managed this area before, understands the relationships with local councils or knows which customers to call on that have bid for the latest project in the area. Then you will need to select the right machines to conduct the job, work through the tender and quotation and look to deliver the best package possible to the customer and secure by getting to sign the contract. This requires an industry expert and someone that has the history with the machines and the customers in the local area.
Candidate requirements –
- 3 + Years in Earthmoving Rental or Earthmoving equipment sales
- Key relationships within Civil construction, local councils, and national contractors
- Excellent negotiation and project management
- Relationship Management
- Willingness to travel throughout Central NSW
- Experience in searching and tracking down projects in tender through using BCI or other online portals to secure new projects.
Salary package –
