Instant Access is a leading specialist hire company supplying Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) Aluminium Scaffolding and Swing Stages to the Construction Industry.
About the RoleWe are currently looking to recruit a positive and energetic Business Development Manager to take on a sales role in our EWP division. The role is focused on attracting and developing new business, while also assisting our highly valued existing customers to complete their projects on time and on budget by providing them with innovative and cost-effective EWP/Access solutions.
You will be primarily responsible for building market share in Sydney Metro through to developing new business. You will also work with our existing sales and accounts team to target customers from the existing market. Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Establish yourself as an industry client solution partner.
- Drive revenue growth to meet and exceed agreed upon targets on a monthly and annual basis.
- Establish and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key sales customers, working in conjunction with internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will also have the following skills and attributes:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position with a successful track record for achieving results through influence.
- Experience within the Hire industry or construction/ civil markets would be highly advantageous but is not necessary for the right person.
- Proven ability to build and foster strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organisational structure.
- Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to persuade, negotiate and resolve conflict.
- The ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment effectively, meet deadlines and successfully prioritise work.
- Current and valid NSW Drivers licence.
