This encompasses IT Services, Managed Services, Cybersecurity, Cloud Services, Business-Grade Fiber Internet, MS Teams Calling, Hosted Telephony, On-Premises Phone Systems, Helpdesk Support Services, and more.

In line with our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Business Development Manager to join the ICTHUB team. Your primary focus will be cultivating new business opportunities within the Melbourne market, spanning our comprehensive range of ICT, Telco, and IT services. While warm leads will be provided, we also require your own lead generation activities to create new prospects. Through proactive lead generation and targeted outreach, you will engage a variety of companies, facilitating face-to-face meetings. Employing your adept consultative sales skills, you'll gain insight into clients' current business strategies and internal sales processes, thus tailoring the appropriate ICTHUB solutions, including On-Premises Phone Systems and Hosted Telephony. This is a full-time permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively prospect and expand the client base for ICT, Telco, and IT offerings, utilizing strategies such as cold calling, lead generation, and client visits.
  • Identify potential prospects within the industry, assess their suitability through consultations, and furnish customized quotations.
  • Cultivate and qualify sales prospects to establish a robust sales pipeline.
  • Lead contract negotiation processes.
  • Assume responsibility for revenue generation, total contract value (TCV), and profit margins from the products sold.
  • Lead or support negotiations to secure deals.
  • Formulate sales strategies for designated business segments (partners, customers, industry).
  • Utilize the company's CRM system to document customer interactions and insights, while keeping management informed of sales progress via reports and meetings.
  • Cultivate meaningful client relationships that align with the overall Account Plan.
  • Identify and influence decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers, both internal and external.
  • Cultivate and expand a network of productive customer relationships.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated "hunter" mentality with strong consultative selling abilities.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Development or Account Management Sales within the Telco or ICT sector.
  • A proactive self-starter with a history of exceptional performance and goal attainment.
  • Specific industry expertise within the ICT field.
  • Background and familiarity with IT sales, managed service providers, and/or ICT/Telco is imperative.
  • Proficiency in selling managed service solutions, alongside a robust grasp of computer hardware, software, and networking solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of the ICT landscape, encompassing Cloud Computing, Managed Services, Business-Grade Internet, Cybersecurity, Photocopiers, On-Premises Phone Systems, and Hosted Telephony.
  • Substantial technical knowledge to competently discuss customers' IT environments, conduct thorough needs analyses, devise tailored solutions, and present compelling value propositions.
  • Familiarity with vendors such as Ericsson-LG, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, Dell, Cisco, Fortinet, and Checkpoint is highly advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen, capable of supporting end-to-end sales engagements.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and documenting potential customer requirements, designing corresponding solutions.
  • Effective communication abilities across various channels, including phone, email, video, and collaboration tools.
  • Positive, self-driven attitude, capable of both independent work and collaborative team engagement.
  • Enthusiasm for success within a team-oriented environment.
