ABOUT THE ROLEThe Insolvency Business Development Manager role is part of our Finance, Banking and Insolvency team, which plays a key role in the company future success and growth.
Located in Milperra/Sydney, this role works closely with the National Banking and Insolvency Director, and the wider Business Development team, while using their insolvency experience and industry exposure, and actively growing our client base.
Key responsibilities of this full-time, permanent role include:
- Canvassing prospective vendors in the banking and accounting sectors
- Developing long-term relationships with the key clients both locally and nationally
- Lead chasing to set up opportunities
- Administrative follow up including developing strategies, formalising and presenting proposals both verbally and/or in writing
- Winning new business
- Negotiating business contracts
- Delivering on set KPI requirements
You are a solution-driven individual with a strong drive for excellence and the ability to develop positive, constructive and ‘forward thinking’ working relationships. Your organised, response and passionate nature coupled with your strong interpersonal skills deliver a confident and engaging approach to all working relationships.
To succeed in this role, you will likely have:
- At least 5 years' experience in a Business Development role
- Previous experience working in banking, insolvency or valuation (essential)
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Sound knowledge of automotive, transport, agricultural, manufacturing and earthmoving equipment is desirable
- Current driver's license – please NOTE: this position may involve frequent travel within NSW
