Business Development Manager, IT Asset Disposition

The ANZ division of SLS has been growing at a rapid pace and currently operates 3 ITAD and electronic recycling centers throughout the region and is well positioned for further growth.  

Your new role: 

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Manager with the ability to attract high-value, long term new business, to join our ITAD team. Situated at our Villawood facility, this role offers you the chance to join a thriving business that delivers a sustainable service in an expanding market.

In this exciting position, your focus will be to meet and exceed your financial targets through the provision of solutions and services for end-of-life processing of IT assets to new customers within your territory.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Generating budgeted revenue in core ITAD service fee and associated services;
• Introducing new customers to the business
• Implementing strategies that enable you to understand and deliver a service that caters to your customer’s requirements
• Conducting market analysis, reporting, marketing and developing business plans
• Maximising the quality of assets sourced
• Working with the Operational team to deliver service excellence.
• Providing customer service and support in a professional and consistent manner
•  Promoting Safety within the workplace at all times

About you: 

• A track record of new Business Development success, with cold calling experience being highly regarded
• A passion for selling a product or service to Australia’s top 500 companies or Government departments,
• A positive attitude with the ability to enjoy the activities associated with developing new business,
• Excellent communication skills,
• Computer literate with above average ability to use Word and Excel and an ability to work with and manage the business CRM database,
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of being a team player,
• Experience in the recycling, IT or industrial services industries will be highly regarded but are not essential.
• Willingness to travel when required.
