Primary Objectives:

As a Business Development Manager at Roogenic, you will be crucial in building and nurturing strong relationships within the FMCG industry. 

With flexible options to Work Remotely and either part-time or full-time (3-5 days a week available), this role offers the perfect platform to unleash your potential and drive success from anywhere.

Your primary objectives will include:

  • Developing a strategic approach to take new products to market to drive volume and awareness.
  • Contributing to the sales strategy by identifying national key accounts and pipeline opportunities for emerging channels.
  • Establish and cultivate partnerships with distributors and key FMCG accounts, driving new sales and fostering growth opportunities.
  • Effectively onboard new customers, including pricing negotiations, contract management, and training.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to ensure all collateral and new business pitches are on-brand.
  • Conducting financial analysis (profit window) to ensure that all pricing and new business proposals affecting margins are within Roogenic-accepted parameters.
  • Reporting on sales performance and opportunities in a strategic and insightful manner.

Our Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for an ideal candidate who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Minimum of 4 years of working knowledge and experience in a Sales role in the FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience working with national accounts.
  • Proven experience in pitching and tendering for large accounts.
  • Proven relationships and networks.
  • Resilient and persistent in pursuing sales leads.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and proactively, not reactively.
  • Ability to represent and pitch the Roogenic brand and products confidently and professionally.
  • Ability to travel within Australia and to international expos. 
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan and meet tight deadlines daily.
  • Experience within the drinks or tea segment is highly favourable.
