BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Construction Formwork Industry
- Position: Full-time (Mon-Fri)
- State Office Location: Brendale, Brisbane
- Account Area: All Brisbane and surrounds + selected Country Areas
- Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday, no weekends!

The Candidate
Due to expansion we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team, whose primary role would be to identify new opportunities and drive new business growth, while supporting our existing accounts, within the formwork construction industry.
The successful candidate would be a positive, motivated, and enthusiastic individual that promotes exceptional account management and a willingness to learn.
Duties
- Visit existing accounts to provide innovative & customised engineered formwork solutions within your assigned territory.
- Generate new leads & secure new business opportunities.
- Strive to exceed sales targets through scheduled call cycles, utilising your clear & confident communications skills.
- Develop a deep understanding of our product range & services, while identifying & reporting back on industry activity.
- Formulate rewarding client appointments & meetings.
- Complete daily call logs & maintain the accuracy of our CRM program.
- Develop sales strategies in line with company objectives, while verifying the accuracy of the required goods.
- Ability to plan, forecast & willingness to adapt to last minute changes made by our clients, including the sourcing of cross-hired products.
- Maintain strong customer relations from the initial on-site sales enquiry, through to completion, while displaying a professional experience through written & verbal communications.
- Be an active team player & positively collaborative with fellow team members.
Skills & Experience
- A sales focused individual with relevant experience & a clear understanding of the sales process.
- Ability to network & capability of building strong relationships with key influencers & clients.
- Excellent communication & self-management skills.
- Confidence in generating your own leads & managing a sales pipeline.
- A self-motivated go-getter who is hungry to succeed & not afraid to ask for the order.
- Current Driver’s Licence essential.
- Solid work ethics, punctual, reliable & passionate.
- Willingness to learn new skills & technical products.
- Excellent attention to detail, both numerical & process is essential.
- Sound knowledge & understanding of administrative fundamentals.
- Be self-motivated, display a positive & inclusive team attitude, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft & CRM programs.
