THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a Services Business Development Manager to join our team in Melbourne, VIC.
This role is primarily focused on growing services revenue through our existing Tier 1 & Tier 2 accounts and winning new business across the Services portfolio. This involves supporting our existing Account management teams, managing strategic deals, identifying target markets, collaborating with marketing for campaigns, enhancing existing sales capability through training, and fostering collaboration across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve revenue growth in the Service Portfolio across existing accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries and accounts.
- Exceed annual sales targets through effective tracking and management of individual sales performance.
- Engage key stakeholders to build a comprehensive understanding of customers' business challenges and strategic drivers.
- Ensure accuracy in forecasting and pipeline management within CRM.
- Mentor & conduct training sessions for sales team members throughout the sales process and service delivery
- Develop and execute marketing plans within CRM, including segmentation, contact plans, sponsorships, and events.
- Provide market insights to internal service owners for continuous improvement.
- Monitor customer/market feedback for new service offering ideas, communicating them to internal teams
Skills & Qualifications
- 10-15 years’ experience in B2B consultative style of sales
- Proven success in Business Development, selling solutions, services, and IT solutions to government, corporate, and medium-sized businesses.
- Strong relationship-building skills at both functional and executive levels.
- Track record of excelling in a target-driven environment, including revenue growth, signed contracts, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Autonomy and cross-functional collaboration skills with strong commercial acumen
- Strong organizational, resilient, and goal-driven mindset.
- Ability to understand clients' businesses, challenges, and offer tailored solutions.
