 ROLE OVERVIEW

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Mornington Peninsula region, Victoria.

We are looking for an enthusiastic BDM to make their mark and go out on the road spending most of their days prospecting for new business. Building relationships is a key component for this role and would suit a true “hunter” work ethic. You need to be highly skilled and comfortable with prospecting and cold calling. 

KEY DELIVERABLES

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow an established territory.
• Conduct research and planned prospecting for new client – not cold calling.
• Present solution-based outcomes in the form of a written proposals, quotes, and responding to tenders to clients.
• Complete accurate measures/estimate of the project to be quoted.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCES & PREFERENCES 

• Experience in a solution selling industry/business.
• Previous experience in the painting, facilities maintenance, building or construction industry is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in growing revenue with existing clients, as well as establishing new customers.
• Experience in using a CRM to enter/access sales data to assist your success.
