As aBusiness Development Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Site Manager and Senior Management Group to implement strategies for business expansion, focusing on increasing market share and developing the wholesale and regional portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing growth strategies in collaboration with senior management.
- Influencing stock purchasing decisions to meet customer requirements.
- Implementing key performance indicators for measuring progress.
- Actively participating in sales meetings and providing export documentation support.
- Monitoring market trends and informing management of key activities.
- Ensuring a structured approach to sales through account planning.
- Managing customer relationships and conducting analysis.
- Representing the company at trade shows and functions.
- Sales and marketing experience.
- Meat, FMCG, butchery or food processing industry experience.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Practical problem-solving and computer literacy.
- Proven success in Business Development and achieving KPIs.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
