Our client is a fast-growing food business that operates across the Dairy and Snacks space. They supply their products to supermarkets, foodservice, QSR customers and Industrial channels. This role requires a real business developer with proven networks in new business acquisition across multiple areas such as Foodservice, HORECA, QSR, Coffee chains, Pubs/Clubs and new business areas.
About the role
You will build deep relationships with existing and new customers.
- You will map the market to identify "low hanging fruit"
- You will be familiar with winning supply contracts with key customers.
- You will be responsible for achieving your sales, profit and volume targets on existing and new business.
- You will develop JBP's with key customers and work closely with NPD to bring new product offerings to market.
- Work cross functionally to manage customer service and DIFOT levels.
- You are most likely from a Business Development role in the FMCG Food/Dairy manufacturing space with strong contacts across the channels outlined above.
- You love the thrill of winning and maintaining customers' existing and new.
- You have a sense of urgency, are well organised and customer focused.
- You are professionally presented and possess strong communication and influencing skills.
- Strong negotiation skills of course.
