About the RoleContinuing growth in the Traffic Management channel has resulted in the need to appoint Business Development Manager to maximise market opportunity. This is a autonomous role that you can make your own and drive the client acquisition & relationship function:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industry across utilities, civil & local govt clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, leveraging your industry contacts.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to develop effective strategies.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends in traffic and civil construction.
- Prepare and present proposals to potential clients, showcasing expertise in the industry.
- Negotiate and close business deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
Our client is seeking an individual with proven experience in the traffic and civil construction industry, ideally from a Sales or Operations background. Some other qualities include
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of traffic and civil construction regulations and industry trends.
- Results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
