Business Development Manager - Transport Solutions

As a Business Development Manager with DHL, you will work within a collaborative environment to identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities in our Transport Solutions business. Your duties will include:

• Evaluating market opportunities to identify potential customers and develop pipelines to meet individual and business revenue goals
• Garner a thorough understanding of RFQ documents and briefing the senior leads accordingly
• Build and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential customers
• Partnering with the Solutions Design, Commercial, and Operational teams to develop strategies and solutions specific to each customer need
• Aligning internal resources and coordinate cross-functional teams to create a seamless solution for current or future customers – delivering on our promise to be The Provider of Choice
• Track and report on sales performance, revenue growth, and market share

• Extensive experience across Supply Chain and Logistics, in particular, the development of bespoke, dedicated Transport Solutions
• A strong understanding of the Australian transport landscape
• A proven track record in the development of new logistics products and services
• Successful history of building strategic customer relationships and long cycle sales
• Experience in customer negotiations
• Strong commercial acumen
• The ability to see the 'big picture' and have an innovative & proactive approach
