The Only Sales group includes a collection of Australian classifieds websites. As of January 2024, The Only Sales Group includes six active websites - Only Cars, Only Trucks, Only Trailers, Only Earthmoving, Only Ag and OnlyVans.com.au. In the coming 12 months there are plans to launch even more! The Only Sales Group is developing powerful and innovative marketing techniques to drive the growth of its websites.
Our vision is to provide a better sales experience for Australian buyers and sellers. Having worked closely with both Australian dealerships and buyers, we have recognised the frustrations that both groups have with existing classifieds websites in Australia.
About the role
With continual growth and the launch of several more platforms in the coming future, we are searching for a Business Development Manager to help support the growth of The Only Sales Group. You will be focusing your efforts on building relationships within the commercial side of the platforms - Only Trucks, Trailers, Earthmoving, Ag and other Equipment throughout the dealer community; helping prospective dealers to sell more assets easily; and being a point of contact for dealers. The relationships that you will be focusing on (but will not be limited to) will be predominately with Dealers, Small to Medium Businesses and other likeminded individuals that work within businesses that buy and sell trucks, trailers, plant, car, and other equipment.
The role is not your standard job in the office. You will have a company car, mobile phone and be on the road most days building your supplier portfolio. You will have plenty of support, with a top-notch Admin team behind you who will assist you when needed.
This role will require a strong work ethic, great communication skills and the drive to get our clients the best possible outcome. The successful candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work, is disciplined in their work ethic, and have the drive to deliver the best customer service and outcomes for all stakeholders, both internal and external to the team.
There will be a share equity opportunity for the successful candidate.
Preferred experience
Experience working with truck, trailer, machinery, car, and other equipment related dealers from an advertising or finance perspective would be advantageous but not a must.
