Form of workDue to production ready to scale, we now have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to drive sales across our wholesale clients for our custom-made Indoor Blackout Blinds and Outdoor Blinds.
This individual will be on the road travelling across the Perth Metro area engaging with customers in the Commercial Market. We are seeking someone who is hungry to build new business whilst bringing new ideas to the table and confident to challenge us should you believe better opportunities are available. You will have a drive for technology and using CRM systems to enhance sales.
Qualifications & experience
- Strong track record as a Business Development Manager.
- You will thrive by being proactive and spending most of your time in front of customers.
- You will be methodical with a technical bent as well as a determined results driven person.
- Computer skills, with a basic understanding of Word, Excel and Outlook for basic reporting email use etc.
- You will develop a strong understanding of your market and identify all players and opportunities; this will include existing and potential customers.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Business Development role where you’ll be increasing and or maintaining the current customer base whilst bringing new clients on board.
- Cultivate relationships with existing clients to promote continuing growth.
- Plan your days to maximize your 'face to face' time with customers with a view to increasing sales.
- Give continual market feedback via reporting to management and suggest ways to increase sales and deliver a great customer experience.
- High level of accuracy when measuring with (and) quoting our products.
- This is an autonomous role, reporting to the Owners and Director of Company and therefore, suits self-motivated, and results driven individuals who are looking to own the success they bring to the business.
