What’s the opportunity?
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Lumify Work, you'll be at the forefront of our growth initiatives, driving expansion and forging valuable relationships with prospective clients.

What will you do?

  • Prospecting: Take charge of identifying and reaching out to potential clients or customers through various channels including cold calling, email outreach, networking events, and social media platforms.
  • Lead Generation: Initiate contact with leads to generate interest in our products or services, educating them about our offerings, and qualifying them based on their needs and potential fit.
  • Qualifying Leads: Assess the suitability of leads by understanding their pain points, challenges, and requirements, determining whether they have the potential to become valuable customers.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact for inquiries and providing information or assistance to build rapport and trust.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline by tracking and prioritizing leads, maintaining accurate records of interactions and progress, and ensuring timely follow-up to transfer qualified leads and opportunities for further engagement.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and refine your approach, gathering insights to inform strategic decisions and tailor messaging.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and other internal teams to align strategies, share insights, and optimize processes, providing feedback to improve lead generation tactics and overall sales effectiveness.
What have you accomplished?
  • Proven track record of success in sales or Business Development, preferably within Tech & Education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Resilient, competitive, and target-driven nature that fuels your success.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a strategic focus on joint business planning.
