We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. The Business Development Representative will report to the Business Development Manager and work closely with the Engineering and Projects Group and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies that will help the company achieve its goals.
The candidate will need to demonstrate experience and a successful track record in managing existing key accounts and development of new business with OEM customers who require precision machined parts and components to integrate within their manufacturing program
On offer is an attractive annual salary ($$), Car allowance and Performance related bonus scheme. In addition the company currently operates a (trial) 4 day / 38 hr working week format
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies that will drive revenue growth
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the industry
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and prospects
- Negotiate and close deals with clients
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in the company's CRM system
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in selling Engineered solutions and/or Contract Parts to the Manufacturing , Defence , Mining sectors
- Knowledge of CNC Machining Technology and ability read and interpret engineering drawings
- Trade background in Industrial Machining , Programming, Estimation an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Willingness to travel within NSW
- Formal qualifications in an engineering discipline and/or business qualification well regarded
