We are an Australian family-owned business with Head Office based in Brisbane, and a branch in Sydney. Due to consistent growth in Sydney, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to proactively developing new and existing customer relationships across Sydney, and wider NSW.

About Role
Your daily duties will include;
- Identify and prospect new clients through various channels including outbound phone calls, emails, networking, referrals, social media etc. to develop new customer relationships to create loyal business partners.
- Assist in developing and executing the annual Sales Business Plan to maximise order value, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide customer & sales pipeline forecasts and monthly territory planning in line with key reporting milestones.
- Act as a key account conduit by overseeing ongoing activities with clients and seeking intervention/support from internal teams when needed.
- Nurturing and growing existing and potential customers.
- Planning regular face to face sales trips to develop customer base across NSW.
- Conduct equipment presentations and demonstrations to showcase our solutions.
- Uncover customer problems, issues, and needs to successfully offer the best solutions. Generating proposals and emailing to customers along with relevant product information.
- Convert proposals into sales orders and receive payments.
- Utilise Salesforce CRM and other systems within the business for sales funnel management account planning and contact across key customer and market segments, opportunity detection and territory planning.
- Assist with serving showroom customers in Sydney, working in with Branch Manager when required.
- Work with wider team to ensure seamless delivery, continuous improvement, and repeat customers for years to come.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings
About You
Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar role you'll have:
