We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Operations Administrator at Western Power Head Office, Wellington Street, Perth, on a Permanent Full-Time basis.


About this role

As the Business Operations Administrator you will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of generalist operational business support and administrative office services and activities, ensuring a high level of customer service and capturing information to meet business and legislative requirements.

Engineering and Design:

  • In accordance with defined processes and work instructions, support the Function in delivery of projects by undertaking document and design administrative tasks including;
    • opening new design projects in Western Power's Distribution Quotation Management system,
    • review environmental requests from designers and submit for assessment to the Environmental, Safety and Planning team,
    • complete and send notices to the community and service providers
    • general office administration
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders to support the successful delivery of projects
  • Assist and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives


About you

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

  • Completed Year 12 (or equivalent) with English and Mathematics and / or at least 3 year's demonstrated general administration experience
  • At least 2 to 3 years demonstrated experience in provided administrative office and or operational support services with knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management
  • Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software
  • Understanding of administrative functions and office practices
  • Able to deliver high quality, professional, customer focused administrative services
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
