Temporary contracts can include maternity relief positions and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, the contract of employment may cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.

- You are experienced in performing and interpreting ECG’s, Exercise Stress tests and Holter Monitors.
- You have a Post Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound or equivalent and are an ASAR Accredited Cardiac Sonographer.
- You have exceptional time management skills and can carefully plan, organise, and prioritise tasks, whilst meeting service demands.
- You have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and key stakeholders
This critical position in cardiac diagnostics, provides day-to-day best practice delivery of ECG, Holter, Blood Pressure and Event monitoring and analysis and recording of results. This position also performs stress testing and scanning procedures and is responsible for setting up and maintaining the stress testing room ahead of and after testing and assisting patients during all testing procedures.
The purpose of the position is to provide all Diagnostic Cardiology tests and procedures, in a professional courteous and caring manner in line with the CORE values of the Central Coast Local Health District.
