King Street Psychology Clinic is a busy health care practice in Newtown and we are recruiting for the role of “Casual Receptionist / Administrative Assistant”. Our practice provides high quality, culturally aware services to the community, with a focus on sexual and gender minority mental health. Reception duties include (but are not limited to) welcoming clients at reception, answering enquiries, billing, and appointment scheduling. Administrative duties involve all duties related to the daily operation and administrative procedures of the practice, including administrative support for the Director and clinicians, and ensuring the practice is clean, orderly, and well stocked with the essential supplies.
We will interview only applicants with relevant reception / administrative experience, and experience of working in a health care practice will be an advantage. This position is ideal for psychology / medical students or applicants with significant administrative experience now seeking part time work (e.g. working mums).
Applicants must have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and operating Google Drive, and at least familiar with Adobe and PowerPoint. Experience with PowerDiary is strongly preferred. Experience with Halaxy and Jotform will be an advantage. Quick learners who are comfortable with all forms of IT and technology are better suited to this role.
Hours include shifts on Monday - Friday within business hours (8am - 6pm), and possibly Saturday shifts. Minimum two shifts per week, but more availability is preferred. Paid in accordance with Health Professionals and Support Services Award.
