The opportunity:
We are seeking energetic Primary School Teachers that are interested in joining our Casual Relief teaching pool. Relief teachers provide valuable casual support to the Junior School and can expect to be contacted for a shift at short notice. Relief teachers must be available to work from 7:45am until 3:45pm.
Selection Criteria:
- You are a dedicated and passionate individual who enjoys working in a lively and energetic work environment.
- Demonstrate teaching experience and PYP experience or an understanding of Inquiry pedagogy.
- Have an understanding and awareness of issues related to children’s development, education and pastoral needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be a committed, enthusiastic and innovative member of staff.
- Proven ability to effectively engage students.
- Solid understanding of program requirements and curriculum planning for children in Primary years (including those with special needs).
Successful applicants will be invited to attend a group interview and a tour of the school.
Essential Requirements:
- Current VIT registration
- Relevant primary teaching qualification
