We are seeking a Technology-Focused Change Manager as a 8 month Fixed Term Contract. As a key member of our team you will play a critical role in driving successful technology-driven change projects to a diverse and exciting range of clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth implementation of new technologies, systems, and processes, while effectively managing the impact of these changes on people, process, systems and wider organisations. Your expertise in change management and technology will be instrumental in helping grow Nexon’s change business.
General duties:
- This is a consulting client facing role reporting to the head of Nexon’s change practice. The successful Change Manager will be required to independently plan and manage multiple diverse change initiatives across our portfolio of clients.
- You will be required to support our clients and project specialists by performing the following key change tasks:
- Consult and analyse: This will require you to consult with and managing various internal stakeholder and external client relationships to deliver upon agreed change management plans.
- Change Readiness and Adoption: Evaluate the organisation's readiness for change and develop strategies to foster a positive and change receptive culture. Implement change adoption metrics and feedback mechanisms to track progress and make necessary adjustments to improve adoption rates.
- Develop overarching change plans: to provide a solid change roadmap and robust framework that will support a successful change outcome and cover the key change plans.
- Risk and impact assessment: Assess the potential impact of technology changes on various business functions, processes, and employees. Formulate an approach to identify and mitigate risks, resistance, and barriers to adoption through effective change management practices.
- Develop clear and compelling communication plans, including messages, channels, and timelines, to build awareness, manage expectations around upcoming technology changes.
- Create and deliver training programs to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to embrace and effectively use new technologies, this will include experience in conducting comprehensive change impact assessments.
- Manage the change: Collaborate closely with project teams, project managers, and client-side stakeholders to ensure technology initiatives are aligned with organisational goals, objectives, and business benefits are realised. Act as an interface between technology and business teams to facilitate smooth transitions, unblock project issues and minimise disruption.
- Monitor the change: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of change management strategies and tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to drive better outcomes. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
- Support the Nexonchange team: Develop new change collateral and tailor existing templates to client/project requirements.
- Proven experience of working within a change environment and or consulting environment preferably with a focus on technology-driven enterprise-wide transformations.
- Proven experience implementing one or more of the following: Microsoft (Teams, Dynamics, SharePoint), call centre platforms (Genesys), CRM, ERP and cyber security initiatives, ServiceNow is desirable.
- Solid project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to problem solve, assess risks, measure change impact, and track adoption metrics.
- Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and be seen as the trusted advisor.
- Attentive to detail and confident developing change collateral.
- Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities.
- Be able to understand IT project concepts and comfortable in dealing with engineers and technical specialists at a general subject matter level.
- Ability to populate the following templates:
o Stakeholder matrix
o Risk in change matrix
o Project communications plan
o Training needs analysis
o Project training and support plan
o Project briefing packs
Desired skills and qualifications:
- Hold a Prosci Change Management Certification.
- Solid ability to us MS office applications
- Experience with any learning technology Canva, Camtasia etc
