Job Description:
Our Client is looking for a Channel Development Manager to manage an existing client base and grow the region through the acquisition of new partners.
They’re in search of a dynamic individual who can amplify existing partnerships and focus on developing new partners to enable consistent revenue growth. If you possess an outgoing personality, problem solving skills and have a knack in sealing deals, you’ll fit right into the team. Our client is looking to add a trusted advisor to the team that key targeted organisations will seek out to address their challenges and drive mutual growth across the region.
Your Role:
As a Channel Development Manager, you’ll manage a variety of partners/resellers with goals of maximising revenue through our clients ecosystem partners, resellers, and end-users by collaborating closely with the internal support functions (ISR, Presales etc.). Your responsibilities will include expanding the existing partner network, nurturing current relationships, and leveraging your expertise to influence key decision-makers. Expect to immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where global collaborations are the norm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of their products through the distribution channel.
- Further develop the territory's reseller partner base.
- Foster long term relationships with existing distribution partners.
- Uphold the values of Reliability, Openness, Innovation, Flexibility, and Independence.
- Engage in independent tasks such as travel within budget, presentations, documentation, and expense management.
- Collaborate closely with the internal sales team, Presales specialists, and other CDMs.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in IT and/or security industry sales.
- Proficiency in business-level English (verbal and written).
- Strong attention to detail and documentation.
- Exceptional relationship management skills and a desire to develop new business opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability in logo acquisition and overall value creation.
- Competence in IT technical skills and organisational proficiency.
- Strategic thinker with both short and long-term vision.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for success.
- Self-motivated individual who thrives on challenges.
- Exceptional stress management and multitasking abilities.
- Open, honest team player with a sense of responsibility and accountability.
